Well, NaNoWriMo 2006 is almost over, and I have 58,441 words to show for it, and the novel isn't even finished! It's quite near the end, I know how it will end and that it will end soon, and on a major cliffhanger, therefore I will need to write a sequal, which of course I have no idea what is going to happen.
I'm happy with this novel. It's very different from last year's, and I don't think it will involve quite so much editing, although I'm alreday thinking of things that definately need to be tweaked and inconsistancies that need to be straightened out. All in all, I have decided to go ahead and try NaNoPubYe (National Novel Publishing Year) and see what happens.
In other news Kire knows Sit, come, lie down (but only if you've got food), and Hop Up. I'm also teaching her 'Talk' so that I can get her to Baroo on command. :-) She spent Thanksgiving sassing people around, and has been using her 'voice' a lot more ltely. Good times!
She'd be the perfect candidate for Agility, as I've noticed that she tends to take the path of most resistance, choosing to leap over couches and crawl under chairs when she can just as easily go around. She also likes to curl up under the couch and fall asleep, and usually I forget she's under there and go into conniptions thinking she's snuck into my room and is eating the wall or something. Basenjis do that. :-)
Anyway, it is late and I am tired, so I will head off for now and see you another day!
